TheAlabama Crimson Tidehave officially signed Newberry College transfer guard Rickell Brown, the programannounced.
Brown is a talented playmaker that will join the Tide with two years of eligibility remaining. At 5-foot-6, Brown started all 28 games played during the 2025-26 season, averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game to earn All-South Atlantic Conference honors.
Brown also averaged 4.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.9 blocks per game throughout her sophomore campaign at Newberry. The talented guard also impressed defensively on numerous occasions last year, as Brown officially finds herself as the newest member of the Crimson Tide's 2026-27 roster under head coach Pauline Love.

Alabamahas added a plethora of talent from the transfer portal following a multitude of key departures this offseason, as Brown will now look to make an impact next season in Tuscaloosa.
